Craig Levie
Craig Levie has 35 years experience in all aspects of freight
railroading. He began as a locomotive engineer for the Southern Pacific
Railroad covering territory in Southern Oregon and Northern
California. From there he was promoted within the operating
department continuously culminating after 20 years of managing all
aspects of railroad operations for the Western United States.
Craig then worked for the Port of Portland managing their rail program.
During his tenure the Port became a nationally recognized model within
the railroads for efficient infrastructure with regards to capacity,
mainline connectivity and operations. Craig was instrumental in
developing market based initiatives which resulted in public and
railroad investment in facilities as well as new business for the Port.
Since 2006 he has been a principal of Tangent Services, Inc. a
consulting firm specializing in freight rail operations, facilities and
infrastructure.
Craig graduated from Don Bosco Institute with a Five-year technical degree in Metallurgical Technology. |

Ann-Marie Lundberg
Ann-Marie Lundberg has 25 years experience in various aspects of the
transportation industry. She began in Portland in the marine
shipping industry which quickly led to opportunities in Los
Angeles. While there she worked for 5 years with Seattle based
Expeditors International. This exposed Ann-Marie to all aspects
of the logistics chain.
Ann-Marie returned to Portland where she began working at the Port of
Portland. During her 15 years with the Port she worked in various
capacities on many marketing, business development and infrastructure
projects. Most of those projects had a heavy rail component.
Since 2006 she has been a principal of Tangent Services, Inc., a
consulting firm specializing in freight rail operations, facilities and
infrastructure.
Ann-Marie graduated with a BA from Lewis & Clark College with a
double major in International Affairs and German.

Jim Daly
Jim
Daly joined Tangent Services in 2012 with more 25 years of port
experience in the areas of business development, strategic planning,
market research, and operations. He comes to Tangent Services from
ICTSI Oregon, Inc., where, as manager of planning and administration,
he helped ICTSI establish its first terminal operation in the United
States.
Jim started his
transportation career with the Port of Portland where he held the
positions of research associate, manager of research for the
seaport division, and strategic and business planning manager for the
seaport and industrial development divisions.
In
addition to his background in market/policy analysis and strategic
planning, Jim worked on many of the Port’s most important marine
terminal and industrial land transactions. From 2005 to 2007, he led
the project to redevelop and market the Terminal 4 grain facility.
Notably, he initiated the effort to privatize the Port’s container
terminal operation and was a member of the core team that guided the
project through its solicitation, due diligence, and contract
negotiation phases.
Jim graduated
from Portland’s Lewis and Clark College with a bachelor’s in Business
and Administrative Studies; he earned a master’s in Industrial and
Labor Relations from the University of Oregon.
